Drawing on another medium, magazine pages! This one was done on the Drawing Room page in the Time Magazine issue of Nov. 24, 2008 (not 09 as I wrote on there). It turned out better than I thought, but think I'm going to use a full page of text next time. See if that'll be too black. Hmm ...

Absorption
My cousin gave me the idea of using my patterns in the midst of a scene. So, this is my attempt. I'm not sure if I like it or not. Just seems so .... empty. But anyway, we absorb advertisements! *Schlurp!*
Bud
I want spring to come. You know, with flowers, blue skies, birds singing, etc. Belgium is too depressing in the winter. :(
Heart
Took a nice long hiatus from drawing. For some reason the inspirations stopped flowing. :P I have these cycles.
Everyone's looking for love, right? :)

Inescapable
It's been a while since my last post. Why? Because I haven't had time to draw. I haven't even had time to read! All my procrastinating and thinking that I still had more time to work on homework and have fun has finally caught up to me. I'm running out of time! So these past few weeks/days have been art-less.
Anyway, so that's the theme behind this drawing. Time is inescapable, wherever you go, and it will always be there. Lame! :P

Untitled - No. 24
I've been cutting and pasting (literally! not computer terms!) lately. Did a collage of Times pictures and words on my folder (yes, I've regressed back to middle school) and also some other arts and crafts. So fun! So anyway, thought I'd do some more cutting and taping (because I don't have glue) tonight and came up with this. At first I could not get them to fit and look good, but finally decided to just settle on this. Thank goodness I kept the construction paper from way back when instead of sending it to America with the parents. It has come in quite handy recently. I also bought new pens. Yup, I couldn't help it. All my other pens are pretty much out of ink, and if I wanted to wait for pens from Taiwan, I'd have to wait until winter break, which I didn't want to. So! I went and bought a set of four (different tip sizes) and spent too much. :P
Pens, construction paper, tape.
